We have a number of varieties of Hydrangeas that will flower at different times. When we dispatch your order we will select the variety that is ready to flower. The colour will be either pink, blue or white. Hydrangeas are great for pots or gardens and are low maintenance. Lime soils will provide the lovely pink colours or apply aluminium sulphate for blue flowering. White hydrangeas remain white, whatever the soil type.

Is a Hydrangea easy to care for?

How much light does a Hydrangea need?
Hydrangeas grow best getting the morning sun with afternoon shade. Too much direct afternoon sun can scorch the leaves, but too little may reduce flowering. A sheltered spot with partial sun is ideal.
Is a Hydrangea safe for pets?
Hydrangeas are toxic to cats and dogs if they try and eat the leaves. If your pet enjoys chewing on your plants, keep out of reach.
Does a Hydrangea need warmth/humidity?
Hydrangeas benefit from a sheltered growing position. They do not require high humidity but appreciate consistent moisture and protection from hot afternoon direct sunlight.
How often should I water a Hydrangea?
Hydrangeas prefer consistently moist soil, especially during the growing season. They can wilt quickly in hot weather, so regular watering is important during summer. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
